On Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 8pm, the Creative Alliance of Baltimore will present
Winterlude: The Special Edition Screening. What makes this screening so special? Well, there are going to be loads of extras including extended Oxes videos, behind the scenes materials, a special introduction, an in-depth Q&A, and much, much more. We even hope to throw in a few surprises. This will most likely be the last
Winterlude screening of the year so we're trying to make it a blow-out event. If you come out to the show, we promise in 6 years you'll be bragging to all your friends:
"Yeah, I saw the
Winterlude screening at the Creative Alliance at 8pm on Sat, Oct 22, 2005, at the Patterson Theater on 3134 Eastern Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland. It was $10 or $8 for members and I purchased my tickets online at the
Creative Alliance website in advance, although I could have also purchased them at the door the night of the show. Man, it was an awesome night!"
Yes, that's exactly what you'll say.

We've got two great screenings of
Winterlude coming up:
On Sat, Sept 24 at 8:00pm
Winterlude plays the Frederick Festival of Film (
Festival website).
On Sat, Oct 22 at 8:00pm, Chlorofilm will present a Special Edition Presentation of
Winterlude at Baltimore's Creative Alliance, complete with loads of extras including additional music videos and live musical performances. More information on this exciting event will come, but in the meantime you can visit their
website to learn more and purchase tickets.
Of course, more information on both of these screenings is available on the
Winterlude Screenings page.
We began the summer with a DC-area screening (at the AFI) and now we'll end the summer with another: The Avalon Theater in Washington, DC (just south of Chevy Chase, Md) has picked Winterlude to be presented as part of their Local Filmmaker and Community Night Series.
The screening will be Wed September 7, 2005 @ 9:15pm, and tickets are $8.50 (in advance and at the door). Advance tickets are on sale at the Avalon box office (5612 Connecticut Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20015; phone #(202) 966-6000). For more information, visit the
Avalon Theater web site.
Also, stayed tuned for upcoming information about a Special Edition Presentation at the Baltimore Creative Arts Alliance in October.
Advance tickets are now on sale for the Tuesday June 7th screening of Winterlude at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, Md. Ticktes can be purchased online at the
AFI Silver Website. And remember, the more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win.*
(*Disclaimer: Lawyers for Chlorofilm would like to clarify that there is nothing available to win and that this is simply a shameful attempt to sell more tickets. We regret any discomfort this may have caused.)
Winterlude is a "subversively elegiac look at relationships"? Yes, according to the
Baltimore Sun.
The date for the Winterlude screening at the AFI Silver in Silver Spring, Md, has now been changed to Tuesday June 7th at 9:00pm. As always more information is available at the
Winterlude page and advance tickets ($5) will soon be available from the
AFI Silver web site
This movie called Winterlude keeps gaining momentum. Just having completed a successful run at The Charles, we now have the honor of announcing not one, but two upcoming screenings.
First, we are pleased to report that Winterlude has just been accepted in the Johns Hopkins Film Festival. The film will be shown Sunday April 24 at 7:00pm. More information is available on the
JHU Film Festival website .
Then on May 3rd at 9:00pm, Winterlude will play the AFI Silver in Silver Spring, Md. More information is available at the
Winterlude page and advance tickets will soon be available from the
AFI Silver website.
We would also like to thank everyone that came to the screenings at The Charles and encourage each of them to invite 5 friends to one of these upcoming screenings. If each of those 5 friends then invites an additional 5 friends to a future screening, we calculate that it will only take 7 more screening before everyone man, woman, and child in America has seen Winterlude. Thank you.
